In November 2005, four good friends came together with a great idea: TO START A BUSINESS!

We were four young entrepreneurs working full-time in the ranks of paid employment, you know: 9-5, Mon-Sat, 1.5 hrs daily commute etc. It was mid of November, 2005 when we thought wouldn’t it be great if we could work for ourselves (make our own millions, decide on our own daily schedules).

Out of this, sprung our present online business which, by the way, has absolutely nothing to do with any of our previous employment experience.

By this point, we had already found a hot internet niche market and were pulling our socks to serve it. Hence, WritersMania.org was born. We did not leave our jobs straightaway but worked long hours after our day jobs…

SIX MONTHS LATER. . . decided to leave our 9-5 jobs because it was really getting tough to handle both of the things at the same time. So, we started out in one of our partner’s apartment with four PCs, an internet connection and a phone…

A YEAR LATER. . . we were getting a very good response and things were increasingly getting difficult to manage by four of us. We needed more people to take care of our business affairs. So, we shifted in a commercial rented bungalow and hired about 15 people…

THREE YEARS LATER. . . with over 40 full-time employees and more than 1500 freelance writers from all over the world including Pakistan, we have surpassed our own revenue forecasts. We are continuously striving to add a variety of freelance projects not limited to writing only. For instance, web designing, data entry, search engine marketing and many more to aid the unemployed, retired, work at home moms, and students.

We did things the hard way, but that doesn’t mean you have to as well. It took some time, we made some mistakes, but we succeeded in the end. And now we want you to make a good and smooth income while freelancing.
