Writers Mania serves writers at every stage of development through programs that offer ample opportunities for professional growth in skills and insight. If you're an established freelance writer looking to broaden your markets. Or perhaps you've just started working from home and hanker for the buzz and support previously provided by the office. Or perhaps you haven't sold much yet but would like to make contacts to help further your career.
WritersMania can help.
How we started
WM was founded in 1996 by five freelance writers who missed regular contact with other professionals. They had a vision of mutual support among writers who write for a living. We've grown considerably since then, but we still see ourselves as a friendly, lively professional group whose members include journalists, fiction and non-fiction writers, copywriters, poets, dramatists, editors and publishers.
It worked for us "I belong to several networking groups in London. But I've had more work through being a member of Writers Mania Network than through any of the others." Caroline White, freelance journalist specialising in health
"WritersMania Network is a lifeline. Without the network, I wouldn't have learned how to sell my writing overseas while living in Italy." Tracey Gambarotta, freelance journalist writing from Genoa, Italy
